Mary Stevens is a filmmaker and photographer based in New York City where she works as a senior associate producer of original video with CNBC and CNBC Make It. Focusing on documentary storytelling, her stories convey the intricacies of relationships, personalities of leaders and perceptions of social issues.
Her work has been recognized by Pictures of the Year International, Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (Gracies Awards), The Webby Awards, SXSW Interactive, College Photographer of the Year and the North Carolina College Media Association.
She has previously worked at CNN and The Denver Post and received her B.A. in photojournalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2014.
